Turtles On Fenceposts...w/Update

Update:  No turtles were harmed in the making of this blog.  Except for the one on the left.  After being rescued and set free by a concerned person, he returned to his natural habitat, where he was immediately eaten by a coyote.

  1. How sad you feel it's okay to post such a sick idea to people. It's not a joke to put turtle's on post's or other horrible places! People do enough cruel things to innocent creature's! As a rescue wildlife habitat that works hard to save and give permanent sanctuary to many beings (including turtle's,) it pains me to think of the morons who may act to harm turtle's, now that they've seen your photo:(. Please remove this post. Turtle's will die from falling, she'll flips, internal injuries, starvation, predatory attack etc, by being abducted and put on fences and posts to get a photo op. Left to die at the hands of creeps who've read this post. Use your time to help wildlife, animal's and their lack of habitat and kindness. What little is left is polluted and under human encroachment! Thank you:)

  2. Metaphor met a coyote.

The quality of your 100% unretouched photos is stunning, just stunning. Makes me want to immediately recreate them, but local conditions force me to substitute possums for turtles, and block walls for posts. The metaphor loses something...
