Al Sharpton, A Quiet Moment

Onlookers were dumbfounded last week, confronted with a strange, unsettling sight.  Somebody managed to pull himself together, and took a picture of the Reverend Al that will go down in history as one of the rarest, most unbelievable sights ever photographed.

It is a picture of Al Sharpton with his mouth shut.

The crowd of admirers was stunned as the Rev Al stood there, not talking, with a strange, dazed look on his face.  He wasn't even stabbing the air with his finger.  Panic swept the room, several people in the audience collapsed, and one person, obviously in a state of shock, said "we didn't know what to do.  We were waiting for him to tell us when to start the riot, but he didn't say anything.  He hadn't even told us what we were supposed to be mad about yet.  It was scary."  Someone pulled himself together long enough to call paramedics.  They were on scene in less than two minutes, and as they were preparing to stabilize him, he was heard to say…

"I'm fine, I was just in between sentences"

Here is a picture of that moment, frozen in time, along with a small sample of others showing the Al we all recognize.

Our experts, using the latest face recognition software,
have assured us that this is indeed Al Sharpton.

The Voice Of Sanity

Here is the voice of sanity from a Harvard professor.  This Christmas we will again celebrate the birth of Christ, who came here to teach us this same message.

That light still shines in the world.  Truth, clarity, and respect for others is only possible if we have respect for ourselves, and if we listen to the things He taught us.  There are people now in this country who sow hatred and division, who want to replace His message with a very different one.  They've always been among us, and they know that to succeed in their plans, they have to turn us against each other by creating anger and confusion, and by turning us away from our religious principles, however they might be expressed. But they will only succeed if we let them.

Obama Ponders His Next Move

Obama spins the foreign policy wheel, hands the Castros a huge victory, America gets nothing in return, Obama stands at 0 for 10 in his foreign policy efforts, and ends up with a Texas chili bowl for his trouble.  Socialism wins, and the Cuban people lose, not to mention the damage to what's left of our national image.  But Obama doesn't see any of that as bad.  So should he spin the wheel again or not?

Obama ponders his next move:  "After all, America does need to be brought down a peg, and besides, thanks to the RINOs, amnesty is in the bag, right there next to Obamacare.  And they actually passed the CRomnibus.  So since the midterms, it's been a pretty good run from my point of view.  So what the hell, spin it again.  It's not my money after all, and whatever happens, if America ends up looking bad, hey…. Anyway, I like a good Texas chili bowl now and then, so even if I lose, I win"

So Much To Transform, So Little Time

Today President Obama announced he would begin the process of normalizing relations with Cuba, including establishing a US Embassy in Havana.  Exactly how he will go about this is unknown (yet another Exec Order?), as Congress is the only entity that can end an embargo.  But then, when has he ever let that sort of thing stand in his way?

One Final Thought About Dr. Gruber

Over the last two weeks, Dr. Gruber has received his share of attention for his statements disclosing the deception used to craft Obamacare, and his repeated statements to the effect that Americans were too stupid to catch on.  With the exception of the MSM, just about everybody has had something to say about the cynicism exposed by his statements. The humiliating takedown by Darrell Issa's committee yesterday, (12/10) was well deserved, and If there's more to follow, he deserves that too.  (He wasn't allowed to plead the 5th Amendment, that phrase has been copyrighted by the IRS).

Gruber's problems centered around his contributions to the development of Obamacare, his string of documented comments about the need to deceive Americans to secure the bill's passage, and his repeated observations about how easy that was given how stupid we all are.

A fascinating comment was made during the hearing by committee member Elijah Cummings.  Unconcerned about the fact that Obamacare is built completely on lies, or about the insult to America's intelligence, his stated concern was that Gruber's statements gave the GOP a "public relations gift", and that the democrats stood exposed.  The main reason Mr. Cummings was unhappy was that Dr. Gruber had dared to speak the truth.  He had broken "omertà".   Omertà (silence) is a principle that evolved in Sicily, used by the Mafia as a code of conduct that forbids disclosing information about criminal activities.  The totalitarian left shares that principle, and for good reason.  Ironically, it was originally used as a means of keeping government out of people's private affairs.  Now it has become a principle used by the government to keep private citizens away from the truth.

History will remember Dr. Gruber as a sacrificial goat whose naiveté exposed the shenanigans of his totalitarian bosses.  Like them, he brought arrogance and an elitist sense of entitlement to the table, but he lacked the street sense to pull it off.  He was a political naif in the art of weaselspeak, and he let the cat out of the bag.  It is that about which Democrats are unhappy.

He should have stuck to teaching economics to college kids, where a PhD is a mark of high honor,  and left the lies and the disrespect shown to the nation to the people who do it for a living.  For them, PhD stands for Phony Dufus.

Empathy For The Devil

Hillary says we need to show empathy for our enemies?  People who want us all to die?  Here's a video clip with Greta Van Susteren on Fox...Oliver North's reaction is priceless.

This woman wants us to believe she has the tickets to be the Commander In Chief, but then she says stuff like this.  It's a great way to interact with grandchildren, Hill, but it doesn't work with 11th century madmen who are willing to die for a chance to cut our heads off.

Ferguson: Leading From Behind

Following the explosion of violence that came as the grand jury announced they would not indict Darren Wilson, Mr. Obama, ("L'état c'est moi"), issued a statement calling for calm, simultaneously adding fuel to the fire by encouraging the mob's right to have a grievance.  He declared that America could never be absolved of it's racial sins, not because it shouldn't be, but because he doesn't want it to be. It's too valuable a tool around which to pit us against each other.

"…we need to accept that this decision was the grand jury’s to make. .. there are Americans who are deeply disappointed, even angry. It’s an understandable reaction."

Leading from behind as usual, except this time not in a fight with Libyans or in Afghanistan, but in the war he's conducting on American society.  As long as the people who support him allow themselves to be gamed, he has no need to conduct an actual revolution.  As long as they're willing to buy into the socialist's "you're a victim" line, he can sit back and watch us make war on ourselves.

A key feature in the socialist left's efforts to divide us as a nation has centered around the idea of "black victimhood" perpetuated by the plague of white racism.  We have been told repeatedly that any problems we encounter with police are due to white supremacist cops acting outside their authority, but never a word is spoken about individual responsibility, or the need to be held accountable for actions that put someone in that situation to begin with.

The concept of individual responsiblity is anathema to the left, because it exists alongside the concept of personal liberty.  It is that which they need to  extinguish, and the left's storyline has two features that serve that goal:  it provides people with a villain to blame, and it provides the government with a logical reason for inserting their own authority into the situation:  "we're here to protect you from these evildoers".

As Mark Levin observed:
"What we are witnessing now is the left's war on civil society.  It's time to speak out in defense of law enforcement and others trying to protect the community and uphold the rule of law".
When Dr. Martin Luther King made his famous "I have a dream" speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, the hope he offered millions was coupled with the need for people to conduct themselves on the "high plane of dignity and discipline".  That was in 1963.  Since then the socialist left has contributed nothing but anger and darkness to Dr. King's dream.  What's happening now in Ferguson is a logical extension of their efforts.

Why I Can't Listen To Obama's Speeches

I have a hard time listening to Obama speak.  There is always a coded subtext that goes something like....'Now is not the time to talk about my real agenda, so here is some more doublespeak, the kind that got me elected President twice.  I started out talking about healing the planet, and slowing the rise of the oceans, and enough of you bought that, so that proves to me that you're all too stupid to see through any of it.  I can say just about anything and none of you will know the difference anyway.'

I saw an article the other day about the sound of crickets chirping.  Supposedly if you slow the sound down to the frequency of human speech, the crickets sound just like an angelic choir.  Maybe it's a hoax, who knows.  At least it's pleasant to listen to.  Take a listen here.

I can't help but wonder:  If you applied the same thing to the sound of fingernails on a blackboard, would it sound just like one of Obama's speeches?

Here's an example of fingernails on a blackboard played at normal speed:  "Scrrrreeeeeechh".  And here it is slowed way down:  "The immigration system is broken and everybody knows it…I have the legal authority to take action"…

Normal speed:  fingernails on blackboard
Slowed way down:  obama speech

Maybe I'm onto something, I don't know, you tell me...

Shoe Scrapers R Us

Mr. Obama just keeps stepping in it.  He's never missed an opportunity to make a situation worse by lying about it.  Whenever something leaks out, his response is predictable:  "I just learned about this".

Whenever something Mr. Obama is doing comes to light, his first reaction has never been to address the actual problem.  The only problem he perceives is the potential for political fallout.  Predictably, he waits to see what he needs to do to make sure no responsibility sticks to him.   What happened in Benghazi, what's going on in the VA,  the ongoing saga of the Obamacare farce, Biden's latest gaffe, what the IRS is doing, etc., all news to him when and if it reaches the public' s awareness.

This time, with the recent revelations about Obamacare, it looks like he's got some gruber on his shoe.  Lucky for him, he lives in a country where the entreprenuerial spirit is still strong.  Anytime there's an opportunity to capitalize on something, somebody will step up.  Private citizens do that in this country, Mr. Obama.  This time it's a little boutique in DC that specializes in shoe scrapers.  As long as Mr. Obama keeps it up, they're sure to make a fortune.

The Fine Art Of Grubering

Jonathan Gruber is referred to as the "architect" of Obamacare.  His approach to selling the idea to Americans is summed up here in a quote by him:
“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really really critical for the thing to pass….Americans are too stupid to understand…"
If cynicism and moral bankruptcy were Olympic sports, Jonathan Gruber would have at least two golds locked up.  If there was a Hall of Fame for a sport called  "Contempt for American Citizens", they would put a statue of him in front of it.  In a country run by socialist wannabes who aspire to complete control, where the end always justifies the means and the concept of integrity is a joke, this guy has some stiff competition, but he's way ahead on points.

So now a new word has entered the national lexicon.  If you buy a car that turns out to be a piece of junk, you've been "grubered".  A "gruberism" is a lie concocted by the left for the purpose of keeping voters in the dark, at least until the next election.

Gruber  verb  \groo-burr\
:  To tell a lie deliberately with the intent of misleading.
:  To misinform people based on the belief that they are too stupid to understand the wisdom of your position.

example:  To conceal the truth about Obamacare it was necessary to gruber the entire nation.
                     noun
:  A calculated mistruth intended to deceive listeners

example:  The explanation given in favor of Obamacare was one huge gruber from one end to the other.

Gruberish   noun  \groo-burr-esh\
:  Any bewildering deluge of falsehoods designed to confound an audience based on the speaker's awareness that the truth must be concealed by any means necessary.

example:  A preposterous mountain of gruberish was put forth intended to hide the fact that the entire nation had been grubered about Obamacare.

The absence of respect for Americans is obvious, and something we have all come to expect from the socialists,  but what is truly breathtaking here is the total lack of self respect exhibited by Mr. Gruber.  He knows the idea he's selling is crap, but rather than question his own involvement, his only reaction is to lie about it to get away with it.  Nobody's going to catch on anyway, we're all too stupid.

Obamacare is not and never was about health care.  It's about control.  Like just about everything else the left has to sell us, the effect it will have on the economy and on American's lives is not the point.

We Built It. We'll Fix It

There's something very basic about America that Mr. Obama doesn't understand.  That ship behind him?  Americans built that.  After he's gone, we'll put it back the way it was, no matter how long it takes.

Veteran's Day, November 11, 2014

Richard Morrison was a WW II veteran who enlisted in the US Navy in 1943 at the age of 15.  He died last month due to injuries suffered in an incident that happened last June at a VA facility where he was a patient.  He was 87 years old.  I know a lot of thoroughly decent, dedicated professionals who work in the VA system.  This is not about them.  This is simply about Richard Morrison.  Today is a day set aside to express our gratitude for the sacrifices made by people like him.

Here is something I want to say to liberals:  If you want to thank a veteran, commit yourself to the principle of individual self determination.  Acknowledge that your future and the future of your children is your responsibility, and only you can protect it. Take charge of your own life, and recognize that the government can't do it for you.

That principle is the core, the essence of being an American.  It is the definition of the Freedom that veterans put their lives on the line to protect.  It's a blessing from the Creator, not a burden.  All you need to do to protect that gift is to insist on the right to live your own life on your own terms, with all the risk and responsibility that entails.  Time and time again the government has shown that they are not capable of living your life for you, and the bigger they get, the more they prove it.

The socialist parasites who have invaded Washington clearly understand this.  All of their protestations about helping people are a cynical subterfuge designed to disguise their real intent, which has nothing to do with helping anyone.  It has everything to do with power and control.  They understand that individual self reliance is a cultural obstacle that stands in their path.  They know that to break that, they have to turn us against each other and break down the traditions that define us as a nation.

To accomplish this, they have to invent issues such as "climate change", which is a con designed to interfere with the economy by attacking our access to energy.  "Political correctness"  is intended to silence dissent, and to prevent the free expression of ideas.  They insist that the 2nd Amendment is a needless, dangerous anachronism that must be done away with.  These kinds of things are presented as solutions to problems, but they are weapons they use to persuade us that we need government to defend us from each other.  They know they can't "transform" the country with brute force, but if we let them, they can do it with lies.

November 4th, just a week ago, America sent the socialists a clear message:  "We're not buying it".  It's a start.  The socialists reaction was predictable:  "Lie faster.  Lie harder".  They're not interested in what we think, only in what they need to do to save their cause.

Millions of free Americans understand all this very well.  They're called conservatives.  There is no force on earth that can take that Freedom away from a people who understand it.  The only way it can fail is if we surrender it ourselves.

So if you want to thank a Veteran for your Freedom, all that's needed is that we live up to the America they sacrificed for.  Richard Morrison and millions of other American Veterans, men and women, deserve that.  Your children deserve that.

Do what generations of people in this country have done since it was founded.  By your actions, inform the government that they are the servants of the People, not the opposite.  There is no middle ground.

To all American Veterans, thank you for your service.

Wednesday Morning, Just Before Dawn

It's Wednesday morning, November 5th.  We're still waiting for someone to make a call on Alaska, so far Sullivan is holding 49% against 45% for Begich.  Virginia is going to a recount, and Louisiana is going to a runoff on Dec 9.  As it stands now, without the results of those three, the Republicans have regained control of the Senate, adding 7 seats, and retained control of the House with 25 additional seats.  Mia Love won, Sandra Fluke lost.  Poetry.

Mr. Obama will be busy over the next period of time making sure that everyone knows that this outcome is everyone else's fault, not his.  Democrat operatives all over the country are quaking in their boots.  They have failed The One.

And Harry Reid sits somewhere in the dark, waiting for the phone to ring.

Right now it's 0430 in Arizona.  The stars are still shining, and soon the sun will rise on a beautiful Wednesday morning.  Harry Reid has conceded his role as Senate Majority Leader, and waits for Obama to start doing what he does best, rationalizing and blaming people.

America has finally stood up and rejected the left's vision of utopia. The American People have given our leaders in Congress one last opportunity to pull this country back from the brink of ruin.  I pray they have the courage to live up to it.

PC Headgear, Giant Bugs

In Douglasville GA, an early voter was told he had to remove his NRA hat while voting, because it "was associated with the Republican Party".  I thought it was more closely associated with things like personal liberty and the 2nd Amendment.  Political Correctness is used more and more openly as the weapon (how's that for irony) that it was always intended to be.  What do you suppose their reaction might have been if he had shown up wearing a hat that said "Fossil Fuel Is Bad, M'Kay"  or "Code Pink Rocks", or maybe "Yay Obamacare"?

The destruction of the concept of individual Freedom is not a bug in the grand scheme that is progressivism, it's a feature.  Election Day, Nov 4, is tomorrow.  This nation is truly at a crossroads.  I don't think there has ever been an election with greater consequences for the future of this Republic.

Yesterday I mailed in my absentee ballot.  I made sure I was wearing an NRA hat the whole time.

If Republicans take control of both houses, and If they acted in good faith with the People of this country and with the oaths they took, they could put an end to this train wreck of an administration in a matter of weeks.

Hey progressives, go suck a bug.  Not just any bug. This one:

Mr. Kerry: "My Job Is Just Really Hard"

At the Aspen Institute's "Washington Ideas Forum", John Kerry said:  "…The cold war was easy compared to where we are today".  He says the "complexity of the world today" (read: "chaos") makes things much harder.   He made no mention of this administration's role in creating that chaos.

If it's fair to say that the Cold War was "easier" than the situation we find ourselves in now, it might also be fair to ask: "why?".  Here are three main reasons why, Mr. Kerry:

1.  We had actual leaders in charge who never heard of "leading from behind".  They took the Constitution and their oath of office seriously, and they made decisions based on what served American interests best.  They understood that they worked for the People.  They had backbone.  (Okay, there was Jimmy Carter, but hey…)  They projected competence, and when they drew a "red line", everybody knew they meant it.  They knew who our friends were, and they knew who our enemies were, and they acted accordingly.
.
2.  They weren't afraid to let the military do their job.  They understood the need for a strong military, and they made sure ours was well funded, well trained and well equipped, and when the time came for the military to act, they listened to the Generals.  There is a reason we have a civilian Commander In Chief, but anyone who is worthy of the title knows when to get out of the way and let the military do what it does.  (LBJ's handling of Viet Nam proves my point).  And they never would have dreamed of treating the military as some sort of social experiment.

3.  They didn't walk around with a long face.

Bonus Reason:

They took care of real problems instead of trying to distract everyone with a lot of crap about how global warming is the biggest threat facing mankind.

When The Mojo Stops Working

Mr. Obama has not been getting much attention from audiences lately.  Contrast the rapture on the faces of his fans when he first came to national attention with the tone at events today.  Once again, at a rally in Virginia, and earlier in Massachusetts at a rally for the Dem gubernatorial race, the audience showed Mr. Obama their displeasure by walking out.  The whole mystical mojo thing seems to be wearing thin with his "base".  Most of us were on to him in 2008, and it looks like his base may be catching on.  The only one who'll never get it is him.

The faithful from every corner of his empire show signs of coming to terms with the reality behind the man they elected twice.

At every midterm election that's too close to call, Mr. Obama has been politely disinvited.  He only attends campaign events that look safe for Dem candidates, and when he does show up audiences have begun showing their displeasure by walking out. (Here and here)  More and more, they're onto you, Mr. Obama.  It's true that there will always be progressives who share his fantasy agenda, but  some may have tired of the lies and the spineless neglect.  Maybe the resulting dissonance will lead them to actually think about the agenda part.

It's encouraging to think that maybe even progressives have limits on their ability to deny reality.   Maybe there's hope.  Actual hope, not styrofoam column hope. To make his agenda work, he needs the wide eyed acceptance of millions of fatuous believers.  They appear to be waking up, and if it continues, things could change, hopefully soon.

Something Scary For Halloween

It's that time of year again...ghosts, goblins, zombie hordes, the boogeyman, shadows that move across the room at night when you're home alone, all pretty scary.  But when it comes to weird and creepy, none of them can hold a candle to the people shown below.

Unlike ghosts, these people actually exist, but paradoxically, their stated beliefs are based totally on fiction.  No amount of reasoning can penetrate their fantasies, because, you see, they know what is best for the rest of us.  They also know, in the dark corners of their minds, that the causes they espouse are fictions.

Global warming, political correctness, evil corporations, evil fossil fuels, attacks on the 2nd Amendment and Liberty in general, charges of racism, sexism, classism, and xenophobia are not causes they actually believe in.  These are weapons of war.

Their goal is not a just, fair society.  Their goal is simply this:  raw, naked, authoritarian control.  Their scope of ambition is global, and America and everything it represents is standing in their way.

Halloween night will come and go, but until we do something to stop liberals, they will continue to walk among us.   Ghosts are pretty scary, but they're no match for the people who have seized control of our nation.

Smackdown In Louisiana

In Louisiana Elbert Guillory is a Republican running for the US Senate seat currently held by Democrat Mary Landrieu.  She has recently been accused of bilking Louisiana taxpayers for the expense of her air travel to and from her home in Washington DC, and it has been disclosed that she does not have a residence in Louisiana that meets Senate guidelines for eligibility.  When she is in Louisiana, she stays at her mother's house, by her own admission.

With these kinds of things going on, she doesn't need the kind of campaign ad produced by her opponent, Mr. Guillory.  When it comes to political ads, it is one of the most effective smackdowns  I've seen in a long time.

Ebola...A "War Without A General"

During a recent Congressional hearing on the ongoing ebola outbreak, Congressman Michael Burgess (R-TX) said  "We are in a war without a general".  This can be said of Mr. Obama's implausible treatment of just about everything, but it's reasonable to consider whether the confusion and neglect about ebola suggest something beyond mere incompetence.

Lately Mr. Obama reminds us frequently of the need to remain calm and not panic.  Nothing contributes to the tendency to panic more than being lied to and kept in the dark.  Some straight answers about Mr. Obama's intentions would help this greatly.  Here are some unanswered questions:
  • Why are our embassies in affected West African nations still processing visas?
  • What purpose is served by exposing thousands of US military troops to ebola in West Africa?
  • Why did you issue an Executive order authorizing the call up of National guard reservists to also be sent to West Africa?
  • What qualifies Ron Klain, the new ebola "czar" for this post?  His background is as a political operative involved with things like the Solyndra scandal.
  • Why would you propose to bring infected ebola patients from West Africa to America for treatment?
  • Why do you refuse to limit travel from the infected countries to US?
  • Why are illegal aliens allowed to travel freely in the US when they are known vectors of TB, malaria, enterovirus, and other diseases?
  • Why has NIH spent $39 Million studying matters like obesity in lesbians and origami condoms, but nothing for research on ebola?
  • Why does CDC head Dr. Frieden assure us that ebola cannot be spread by air when there is no conclusive research available which supports this?
  • Why does every move you've made increase the possibility of public exposure while issuing a stream of statements designed to suppress public concern?
  • Why have you said repeatedly that it is your job to protect Africa and Africans, but your actions betray your lack of concern for Americans?
  • And finally, why, in the total absence of any proactive measures against the threat of an ebola outbreak, did you quietly issue Executive orders which authorize the imposition of martial law in the event of such an outbreak?
Given that there are no answers forthcoming about any of this, It is reasonable to expect that, far from panicking, rational people would find cause to be concerned about Mr. Obama's motives.  Eric Holder's comments notwithstanding, we are not a "nation of cowards".  We can handle the truth.  The problem is Mr. Obama seems to have some reason for avoiding it.

If Mr. Obama is attempting to increase public anxiety as a pretext for operating one of his Executive Orders, he's going about things the way you might expect.  If instead he wants to deal effectively with the threat, he should provide us with some answers.

A Pointed Message From Texas

When I saw this picture, for some reason it made me think of Mr. Obama.  It's just  a picture of a fence, but I have to wonder if Mr. Obama has any idea what fences are for.

People use fences for lots of things, Mr. Obama, like keeping their cows from wandering off.  If people don't have any cows, they can still use a fence to protect their home, say, or a ranch, or maybe even a nation.  Fences keep the bad guys out.  If you're not sure who the bad guys are, feel free to ask most any of us.  We'll be happy to explain it.  That's how we learn stuff.  When someone cares about something, especially if they promised to take care of it, fences are a good way to protect it.

The picture was sent to me by Ralph, good man, Marine, grew up in Waco.  You can bet that when he saw it, he was thinking the same thing.

Obama's Only Strategy...w/ Helpful Guide For Libs

Confronted now with the undeniable fact that his response to ISIS actions is doomed, Mr. Obama chooses, once again, to blame others.  This time it's the intelligence community, whose daily briefings haven't explained the problem adequately, you see.  The problem with this is that over the last 6 years, Mr. Obama has declined to attend nearly 60% of these briefings, being engaged in more pressing matters such as partisan politics and golf.

These briefings have provided a consistently accurate assessment of the situation in the Middle East, and of terrorist activity throughout the world.  This information would have been used by a Commander In Chief worthy of the title to guide his decision process.  Mr. Obama displays an unsettling lack of concern for the threat posed by Islamic extremists to this country.  Instead, what passes for planning is guided by political expedience.  "Al Qaeda is on the run"…"ISIS is a JV team"..These are not indicators that inform policy making, these are slogans intended to prevent his "base" from waking up.

In Mr. Obama's mind, reality is a cruel beast that he can safely ignore as long as liberals are willing to blindly go along with it.  If he spent half as much time trying to do the right thing as he spends making excuses and blaming others…but, no.  He's gotten past liberals for six years doing it this way, so why change now?

His negligence would not be tolerated were it not for the leftist sheep who care more for political correctness than for reality.

NOTE:  For liberals who may have trouble comprehending the above graphic, here is a simplified diagram that will help you understand it.

...Heads Buried Deep In The Sand...

Alton Nolen, a Muslim convert whose association with jihadi terrorists was openly displayed on his FB page and other social media, beheaded a woman in Oklahoma recently, after being fired for disruption involving badgering other employees about converting to Islam.  "Shouting Islamic phrases", he was attacking a second victim when shot by security.   MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry assures us that the attack was "workplace violence", and that Islamic terrorism had nothing to do with it.  On an MSNBC roundtable discussion she insisted that "Islam was not relevant" to the attack.

Liberals can't help themselves.  Their view of just about anything seems to be tailored to one thing:  Regardless of the issue at hand, Mr Obama's narrative must be protected.
" ...Look at their heads buried deep in the sand
hiding from evil made by their own hand..."
